Sanjoy Chatterji - CEO, Director


Sanjoy Chatterji brings to Entomo over 20 years of high technology industry experience to Entomo. Prior to founding Entomo, Chatterji was Founder and President of the Trinetra Consulting Group, which consulted early stage growth companies in the areas of business development, market and product strategy, and organizational development.

In the 5 years prior to Trinetra, Chatterji was Vice President of Software & Systems at Philips Electronics' ATL Ultrasound Division (NYSE:PHG). He was a member of the turnaround team that revitalized and repositioned ATL (then a publicly traded company), boosting the market cap from $250 million to $800 million and leading to an eventual acquisition by Philips. This was accomplished by transitioning the company from an "Ultrasound Instrument" focus to a Web-enabled multimedia Imaging System.

Prior to Philips, Chatterji was Vice President Technology & Services at PowerOpen, a PowerPC market-development company. Before joining PowerOpen, Chatterji spent almost 10 years at Sequoia Systems Inc., joining the company at an early stage and helping grow it through an IPO and several years as a publicly traded company. At Sequoia, Chatterji served as Director Systems Software and in several other functions, including product marketing, professional services and manufacturing support. During his tenure at Sequoia, he developed and brought to market several generations of fault-tolerant, symmetric multiprocessing systems and also received several patents in the area of fault-tolerant and multi-processor architecture and design.

Chatterji currently serves on the Computer Systems and Software Advisory Board of the Washington Technology Council. He holds a Masters of Engineering in Computer and Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a BS/MS in Computer Science from BITS, Pilani, India.

Sunil Pande - Vice President of Marketing & Professional Services, Director


Sunil Pande has over 20 years experience in the high tech industry. Before founding Entomo, Pande was vice president of marketing and engineering at AmiSoft Corporation, a mid-market provider of "To-Order" ERP and Supply Chain Management systems.

Prior to AmiSoft, Pande was vice president of marketing for Tactica, a developer of transactional middle-ware for mobile, remote, and Internet transaction processing. During his term, Tactica successfully established a market for Offline Transaction Processing (OFTP) middleware, receiving several industry awards in the process.

Pande started his career at Intel (NASDAQ:INTC). In his last position, Pande was responsible for developing strategy and products that would blunt competition from workstations and drive the Microsoft/Intel solution to success as a mainstream business-computing platform. He conceived and drove several new products to market, including LANDesk for network management and ProShare for video conferencing. Prior to this assignment, Pande was the principal advocate of Intel's "pre-Web" Internet initiatives, including Windows-based products for Internet information access and collaboration. Pande also drove the early adoption of object-oriented tools and technology at Intel, including organizing the first ever International Conference on Object Oriented Programming Systems, Languages and Applications (OOPSLA). He also introduced technologies like SmallTalk, ObjectiveC, and C++ into mainstream product development at Intel.

Pande holds a MS in Computer Science from University of Oregon and a BS/MS in Computer Engineering from BITS Pilani, India.

Suresh Kumar - Vice President of Engineering & Internet Operations


Suresh Kumar brings over 18 years of high technology product development and business experience to Entomo. Prior to joining Entomo, Kumar was Founder and President of Transaga Software, which developed and marketed Off-line Transaction Processing (OFTP) technology and products for integrating applications of an extended enterprise.

Before founding Transaga, Kumar was co-founder and Vice President of Engineering at Tactica Corporation, a developer of transactional middleware for mobile, remote, and Internet transaction processing. He built the engineering organization in both in the US and offshore, and successfully brought enterprise level products to market in record time. Also responsible for the architecture of Tactica's products, he designed and implemented database adapters, failure management and recovery components, system backup and communication modules and system monitoring tools.

Prior to Tactica, Kumar was Director of Engineering at PI Systems where he was responsible for the architecture, development strategy and management of MobileWorks, a software framework for building mobile client/server applications. Kumar started his career at Tektronix (NYSE:TEK) as Senior Software Engineer/Architect, working on Computer Graphics with a focus on rendering, visualization and high performance 3-D graphics pipelines.

Kumar has been awarded patents in Transaction Processing and Computer Graphics.

Kumar holds a MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Arkansas and a BE in Electrical Engineering from BITS Pilani, India.

Sherry Shaffer - Controller


Sherry Shaffer comes to Entomo with 20 years of senior-level financial and accounting experience in industries ranging from consumer retail to electronics manufacturing and software development.

Prior to joining Entomo, Sherry was Controller at TeamOn Systems, Inc a wholly owned subsidiary of RIM (NASD:RIMM). At TeamOn, she was responsible for all aspects of accounting functions as well as the management of employee stock options, health/dental/vision and profit sharing plans. Sherry managed the working relationship with inside and outside counsel and the purchaser's finance department in support of the successful sale of TeamOn in August of 2002.

In the 17 years prior to TeamOn, Sherry held key finance and accounting roles in a wide range of companies, including positions with Quintessent Communications, Video Only, Murphy & McGowan, Western Marine Electronics, and Wescot Company & Wescot International.

Sherry holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting/Finance from Central Washington University.
